About Findables
For more than 20 years, Findables has been helping people ‘find’ the best gift for even the most difficult person on their shopping list. In 2005 Findables moved from their location on Armitage Avenue to its new home at 1643 N. Milwaukee Avenue. Just one block north of North Avenue, Findables occupies the first floor of this 5-story granite clad historic building that formerly housed the Polish American Alma Mater Club.
Founder and owner, David James Ginople, began his career as an entrepreneur following ten years of retail buying experience for Marshall Fields and Bergdorf-Goodman. Benefiting from years of fashion buying and corporate travel, including trips to the great fashions houses of England, France and Italy, David opened Findables in 1985.
Year ‘round, Findables has the perfect gift for every person on your list: babies, mothers, fathers, bridesmaids, hostesses, brides-to-be, and best friends. Findables offers gift and bridal registry for its eclectic assortment of merchandise, which includes designer jewelry, bathing products, picture frames, home cleaning products, journals, sachets, chenille throws, cookbooks, barware and serving pieces. Findables is known for its displays and during the holiday season the store completely transforms into a Christmas wonderland. Throughout these festivities, Findables features Christmas trees filled with extraordinary ornaments from David Strand, Old World Christmas, Landmark Creations and Christopher Radko. As well as the holiday décor of Bethany Lowe, Cody Foster, Joe Spencer and Byer’s Choice carolers.
